Well we finally harvested all the onions. We pulled them in about 3 different batches. First the red creoles, then the early whites, and then finally the Texas Legend onions. At first I wasn’t sure whether or not the harvest was going to be all that good, but I can definitely say I’m quite content with how everything turned out.
We purchased our onions from Dixondale Farms and planted them in November. We pulled up the red ones about a month ago, and I just finished pulling up the Texas Legends. The wife braided up the onions and we hung them up in the pantry.
